Hi Coaches,

This may be the first coaches email you have received as some of you had not registered as a coach. We have updated our list and I think we have got most of us now.

With us coming back Southwest are looking at having a Biosafety Officers at every game & I think we as coaches should have a bit more of an understanding of things.

There are only 5 questions to complete at the end and the pass mark is 80%.

Also reminding everyone we have shorts, coaches shirts & coaches Boards all available at no cost to all of you. I have got a few orders but if you have not asked for something please tell me so I can put them aside. You can pick them up from me in Eight Mile Plains or hopefully I remember to bring them to training or the game.

We are also looking at running a one hour course to give us all a bit better understanding of what to do when a player gets hurt. I sometimes get a little lost in should I put ice on a players ankle if they hurt it & if it gets better then the player can go back out or once ice goes on an injury should they not go back out.

Not sure if I have told everyone but Southwest are looking at having all U16 all divisions and above played on a Friday night at Hibiscus, Runcorn & Calamvale Community College courts.

We will keep everyone up to date when we know it is finalised or close to finalised. There are a lot of things SWM talk about but if we tell you early and they change their minds things do get confusing.
