So you feel comfortable, we get a lot of information relating to Covid coming from Basketball Qld & Government departments & we do act on this information.I do appreciate members contacting us/ me if they have concerns or sending in information.

At our recent AGM Nazeera decided that after 2 years as our Secretary she would like to take a break from this position. I would like to thank Nazeera for all she has done, Nazeera is not leaving she is still the U12 age coordinator she is only taking a break as Secretary. Her work over the past 2 years as Secretary has really been appreciated so thank you.

I would like to welcome Juli Yong as our new Secretary. Juli has been part of the Runcorn Rockets community for a couple of years, her (Kyel) is playing in U10 and has another son playing Miniball. We do appreciate Juli accepting the position as well as all the work everyone in the club does because everything we do benefits all of our children.

I went to the QSL (Queensland State League) game on Saturday night and our Sponsored player Mathiang played as well as our coaches from the holiday camp Max and Brandon. The Pirates won & it was a great game to watch. All 3 players are over their injuries & will continue to play. We have another home game this Saturday and I think there is only another 1 or 2 home games as it is a very short season this year.
