Hi everyone,

Another busy week with lots of children smiling and laughing.

Things that we’ve been working on this week are Runcorn State high school will be doing a camp for those children that would like to know more about the Blues Basketball Excellence Program starting 5^th November running for 5 weeks, please contact Jess Latorre at the address in the flyer. There will be coaches from school as well as Jono Mines who is an old boy of the school and professional basketball player who played in Greece last year assisting in running the program.

Under 12 and 14 boys and girls will have Representative trials starting on 7^th November. All the information is on the SouthWest website if you are interested in trying out.

This term we have been doing basketball sessions at McGregor State school and Warrigal Road State primary school and early next year we will look to do more at other schools.

We have started planning our Breakup party and will send something out in the next few weeks.

We will be closing registrations for this term in the next couple of weeks. We will look to post fees & information relating to 2021 very shortly. We would appreciate early registrations for 2021 as this helps with our administration of the number of teams and players we will accept.

We have already had interest from schools wanting more of their children participating in Basketball with Runcorn Rockets for 2021.

Our preference is to have all our current members re-join first then look at those that are new & want to join the club. Our current members are our priority.
