Hi everyone,

Well that is our first week of trials completed.

I hope Mums and Dads took pics of your sons and daughters playing – these are special moments in your child’s life and a wonderful thing to look back on.

In the first couple of weeks I am ok when things don’t go perfectly and the kids don’t play well because they will feel great when they work hard, the team performs well and their game improves. They will learn so much more from a loss than they do from a win.

Our home page now has the team numbers against each training time so we hope this helps everyone. We are also now training at the courts at Stretton College.

All of your team members will be listed on the Team App". The team app you have a list of everyone in the team and times for each game.

The Sidney Mines Thursday session are invitation only. After having discussions with Sidney, he has asked if can have around 20 children at each session. Each term we will invite different players in U8 & U10 to attend his sessions. We have the players for this term and will look at other players in term 2.

We have arranged Calum Edsor to run programs for all our U12 coaches. Calum will be working with our U12 coaches for this term at both games and training sessions and we believe it will be a great benefit for both the coaches and the players.

We have added some additional teams so we do have some space for some extra players – so if you have a friend that would like to play please get them to contact us and we will see if there is available space.
