Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well.

I will be sending out a new Challenge video this week but until then there is a great App I think is worth looking at. Ben Brown from Runcorn State high School thought this would be good for the club. The app uses your phone camera to be interactive. One of the drills is you bouncing the ball and looking at the screen and touching in the air where you think the ball is, you get a point everytime you touch the correct place.

The App is currently free I think until early May and it is called Home Court and looks like a type of “H” in a red square, I have attached a screen shot of what the logo of the App looks like.

Every week we are in hibernation is one week closer to us coming back to basketball so we do now need to start ramping up our training.

During our hibernation period we still have been very busy & over the next few weeks I will be telling everyone what we have been doing and what has occurred.

Our Sponsors have always been very generous and make the world of difference to our club which helps everyone in the club.

Just prior to the break we had 3 very special sponsors help us, a donation from a group of doctors on Wickham Terrace and a donation from a Chinese educator. Over the next couple of weeks I will expand on what the doctors and educator did for us and what we are doing with the sponsors.

I will try to share some information about our sponsors over the next few weeks so when we come back and you see the sponsors name on the singlets or I mention them in a newsletter you will know more about them.
