I hope all our mothers had a great Mother’s day.

Some updates, Basketball Qld has suggested a start date for Basketball should be 17/18^th July, which we will aim towards.

The Federal Government are saying that step 2 in the process of everyone coming back to pre Covid19 will be community organised sports with gatherings of up to 20 people. We are currently at stage 1 now. Over the next 2 to 3 weeks we will work towards finalising dates when we can train and what exactly does 20 people mean. We will also need to know what precautions we need to take & any other barriers. So yes hopefully the children will be able to run around shortly. We will keep you informed of our progress over the next few weeks so that you all clearly understand what we will be doing.

Now more exciting news. Rockets with the help of 4 sponsors will be giving every registered player in season 2 a dress shirt at no cost to you when we come back on the 17/18^th July.

These shirts will not replace the training Tee shirt or Coaches shirt but are a dress shirt you can wear to a game or when you are going out. We will have all sizes and will also be available for sale. We had just over 350 registered members in Season 1 this year and we have 500 shirts on order so I am hoping we have enough of all sizes. They are currently being made so we expect them to be here by the weekend of the 17/18^th July or shortly thereafter.
