Hi there everyone,

It was great to see lots of smiling faces over the weekend, which is always a wonderful thing.

Rockets Committee

We have finally got everyone together for a pic. I would like to give you all a simple guide on who we all are and what we do.

From right to left: Jaylene is new to the committee and is currently sourcing venues for our breakup parties and will help with merchandise and Singlets, I am to the side of her and as President I look to lead and manage a range of activities. Kelly Mansell is next to me and Kelly is the U18 Coordinator and also looks after our registraitons and is looking after the Club Championship registration. Mike Rapson our Treasurer is behind Kelly and he is our “money man” and any issues with Basketball connect he is a bit of an expert. Ju Li is in front of Mike and she is our Secreaty who does all our blue cards, flyers and advertising material and running of meetings and just organising things around the committee, Tony is new to the role on the committee and Jonathan Flannery is behind Tony and is our Vice President and does work with Mike with transferring information into our system from Basketball Connect, supports Mike in a range of money matters and is an IT guru.

EKKA holiday

As for the Ekka public holiday on Wednesday this week, our courts are available but as all coaches are volunteers they may be spending time with their families so I would suggest checking with your coach to see if they will be organizing a training session.

The Under 8 and 10 teams will still be training. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
