Saturday evening 15^th May we have our Rockets evening for NBL1.

When: Saturday 15^th May, 2021

Where: Hibiscus Sports Complex

Tip Off: Women 5:30pm and Men 7:40pm

Opponents: Southern Districts – Spartans

These evenings are about a great family night out with music, food and drinks while watching Basketball plus it is a Rockets evening so there will be lots of Rockets people there that you will know.

What we have organised is that the children wearing Rocket’s gear – shirts, Jackets, Hoodies, Track Suits etc do not pay to get in and they will get free Hot chips that Rockets will pay for.

We will send out the link to register and pay to go to the game in the next week or so. There are no seating numbers so you can sit anywhere you like.

As you come into the Stadium the people on the door will give you a laminated slip made by us that you give to the canteen and they will give you hot chips for the laminated slip.

We have organised an U8 game (Rockets playing Rockets) at half time of the ladies’ game so there will be 2 teams and our coaches and in the men’s game we have organised an U10 game (Rockets playing Rockets). Make sure you bring your camera as the kids look great playing of an evening. We may even look for floor sweepers, I will keep in contact with everyone in regards to that if they are required.

It would be great if the coaches could arrange for your teams to come & have a night out together – it really is great for the kids to do this. Coaches talk to a mum or dad to organise this or mums & Dads just approach the coach to organise the evening. We can help by sending something out for you to your team or you could approach everyone at training or at one of the games in the next couple of weeks.
