Hi all,

This coming week is the last week before we start finals. Remember some age groups will play top 4 & others will play the top 8 in the finals.

This coming Saturday 27^th November we will have our break up for the U17,19 and FNYL at Runcorn State High School from 5pm – 8pm, we will have Pizza’s, drinks, play Basketball & have a great time. The following Saturday 4^th December we have the U15’s at Runcorn from 6-8pm. Then if you are in the u7- U13 brackets you will have your party on Sunday 12^th December.

This week we would like to congratulate Pawit Singh who will be the School Captain for Runcorn State High School in 2022 and Cooper Brown who was awarded the Grade 8 Student of the year at Runcorn State High School. Well done to both boys. We do like to celebrate the achievements of all our players so we are happy to share your joy.

We have received the prices from SouthWest for 2022 so we can put our 2022 prices on our website later this coming week. We will also have a training table populated showing when each age group trains, what time and at which venue. We have been able to obtain an extra 8 courts for training at Hibiscus next year so we will be able to have additional teams and we are going to have 3 days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) available for training for U8 and U10 eabling us to increase our numbers in this age group as well.

For those that are interested in playing Representative Basketball there is an Expression of interest for Coaches in U14 (I think U12 is shortly) then the trials for players will occur on Australia Day and then Grading will occur in mid to late March.

I believe they will try to do the trials for both age groups over the same weekend. There may be some changes but that is what is programmed currently.
