Hi everyone,

Well that’s another week finished and a little bit closer to Christmas. To check when our last games for the year are,

when you go to check your draw for the game times at the bottom of the page there is a section called “competition notes” this gives you dates of all the 'finals' games and when we finish.

The under 16 boys representative teams have just been announced and Rockets have 15 boys in the representative teams. I would like to congratulate each and everyone of them as there were over 69 children that applied and many did not make a team so making any team is something you should be very proud of.

If you did not make the team it does not mean you are not capable, it may mean that the coach was looking for something particular in a player or needed taller players or needed shorter players. This year may not be your year so please don’t stop trying as there are many stories of people not making a team & coming back bigger & better because of the hard work they did and with everything you should never stop trying.

The Rockets training on Saturday from 3pm - 4pm all seemed to work well which was great. If your son or daughter

would like some extra training please come along. As long as we cover the costs to hire the hall, we shall keep doing the training.

There will be games on the Public Holiday 29th October & Saturday 30th October - please tell us if you are away that weekend.

Each week we take photos of your children and post them on Instagram or Facebook and we are currently doing team photos but it is a little difficult as not all the players are there every week.
