I would like to thank the families that have started to buy tickets and sorry we did not have tickets for some of you to buy on Saturday but there will be plenty to buy on Monday, hehehheee.

I did have a family say they did not want to buy anything and that is ok but this is all for your children, the club is not for profit and NOONE gets paid. If we do not have sponsors or raise enough money we cannot have these types of things and that would be a shame.

To give you an idea of just one cost – we have 2 umpires and a scorer for each game – they all get paid $15 similar to normal game day – so that is $45 a game and we have 14 games including our U8 on Monday, just for umpires it is over $600 then hiring the courts, food, drink, DJ and hire of music etc. So when a ticket is $5 or $2 we have to sell many many just to come close to paying for the day.

I am glad we are able to do this for our children and I know it will be a great day for all.
