Hi Team 80,

Welcome to Term 2 and we are all getting excited with the basketball season 1 back in action.

Please remember there have been recent changes to the training schedule as we were not able to train at Nissan Arena in Term 2. Through lots of chasing and contacting a variety of venues we have been able to get other courts to ensure you do not miss out on training.

Not only do we have to manage venue but we must also be aware of the lives of our coaches. All our coaches are volunteers and we have consider they have lives as well and cannot drop everything when things change for us. Because of a range of things we are looking to move Team 80 to Monday’s from 6:30pm-7:30pm at Warrigal Primary School (starting next Monday, 26 April 2021), instead of Wednesdays at Stretton College.

We would encourage you to still attend your training sessions this week on Wednesday, 21 April 2021.

Throughout term 1 team 83 & 80 trained for one and half hours very week, the fees allow for only one hour of training as it is normally only representative teams that get an hour and a half because of cost so your children have been very spoilt. We will be going back to Nissan Arena in Season 2 and to keep our association we have still paid for what courts were available there this term. So team 80 & 83 will be training there for 3 sessions at no cost to the families. The first extra training will be this week on Thursday 22nd April from 4.30 – 5.30pm.
