Hi All,

The Basketball season is always an exciting time for those coming back and those new to Rockets. I hope you and the teams a great time for your first week.

We put in all our teams which is 71 but most other clubs don’t so there

Games

You will need Rockets Shorts to play games. After grading the team will lose 5 points for every person not wearing shorts.

Every team each week has to supply a person on the score bench – it is not difficult as it is only pressing buttons.

We do prefer a manger for each team, it does make a difference having a manager in a team so please ask you will find your son or daughter will be so proud of mum or dad doing things with their team. Managers do get to wear a particular shirt so please inform your coordinator.

We play on a Friday night at Mansfield State High School, Runcorn State High School, Hibiscus and Calamvale Community College. On Saturday we play at Marsden State High School, Runcorn State High school, Hibiscus, Calamvale Community College.

Merchandise

The Merchandise shop will be open on Friday from 4:30 – 6:30pm and again on Saturday 9 -11am.

Having the uniform shop open before the games is a great way to ensure all the Rockets teams are ready and looking sharp on the court. It's important for players to have their uniforms sorted out before the season starts. Opening the shop both Friday and Saturday gives everyone ample time to pick up any orders and be prepared for their game.

We have found a box of Rockets Jackets, Hoodies and a couple of Tracksuits get their uniforms and be prepared for their games.
