Happy Fathers day to all the Dads out there and I hope you have a great family day.

End of Term 3.

This coming weekend 8/9th September will be the last games for the term and we will return on the weekend of 6/7th October – yes these terms do come around very fast.

Training venue

As per my previous newsletters the facilities at Runcorn State High School won't be available in September.

What that means for us:

# We have not been able to get another venue for our u8/U10s but we did start the season early when we had our grading day and we will have an additional training session when the season finishes for everyone else.

# all other age groups that train at Runcorn please contact your coach as they have been working with the coordinators for the past few days as to where you are training this coming week.

3x3 Competition

There is a 3 x 3 competition on 16th September which sounds like a fun opportunity! If you're interested in participating, I encourage you to register for it.

Competitions like these can be a great way to showcase your skills and have some friendly competition. Good luck, and I hope you have a fantastic time at your last game and the upcoming 3 x 3 competition!

Couple of superstars

Not sure if you remember our 2 boys who made the Qld teams and went to Perth to compete in the Australian Championships, here's an update - Brandon Nolan from our U14 team, their team came 3rd and Jasraj Gill from our U18 team their team won the Australian Championships. So congratulations boys!!!

Holiday camp

Don’t forget to register for Holiday Camps if you are interested. Remember you do get a discount at the Southwest Metro camp being part of Rockets.

Open to Ages 9 - 14 years.
