Games – Finals

18th November – Semi finals for all FNYL and all Divisions of U17/19. This is because of Schoolies as a lot of teams were not able to participate so the date was bought forward they will all have a bye and come back for the grand finals.

25/26 November – Semi finals all other age groups

2/3rd December – All finals for everyone. (U7/9 do not have finals but there is normally something for them on the Saturday morning – I will keep you informed)

Keeping in contact and playing

If you cannot make training or the game, please tell your coach as I am sure you would not like if your coach did not turn up for training or the game.

If your child is injured, please make sure your child informs the coach, under NO circumstance will a child be playing while injured. Reports need to be taken on injuries by the court supervisors and we have insurances for coverage but there must be a report taken and there is a process which is why the club pay game fees to Southwest Metro every time your child takes the court.

On game fees Rockets pay Southwest Metro $4,000 a week and sometimes more just for the players to play games, have court supervisors and first aid people at our games. We pay a huge amount of money every week to look after all our players, so we take this very seriously.

Many of our coaches don’t have children playing they do it to help others so please when you are asked to help with the scoring and small things like that remember the person asking you has done many, many hours to help your child for no money. And last but not least a thank you does go a long way and it is not expensive. Everyone gets tired at this time of year and the thank you does pep the coaches up.

Seems a lot on over the next few weeks so rest up, relax, and have a fun time as it is a great time of the year.

New Clothing

Our new gear from New Balance has just arrived and you will see Coaches and Managers in new shirts. Managers and coaches please see me when you get a chance if I have not given you yours yet.
